Cosby accuser says she was drugged, groped; 'I was frozen'

HIGH PROFILE CASE Bill Cosby

Constand's case is the only one in which Cosby has been charged.

Cosby, 79, is charged with drugging and violating Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. Constand said she told Cosby she was not interested. Under a settlement Constand and Cosby reached in 2006, Constand was prohibited from speaking publicly about her accusation. As Constand previously told police, she said she was invited to Cosby's residence where he gave her three pills that he told her were herbal to help her "relax" and that they would be her "friends".

A woman's claim that Bill Cosby drugged and sexually abused her at a Los Angeles hotel two decades ago was bolstered by her mother and a workers' compensation lawyer Tuesday on Day 2 of the comedian's trial. Constand's is the only one of those cases that is not too old to be the subject of criminal prosecution, leaving the question of whether Cosby will be found guilty of sex crimes hanging primarily on her word. According to reports, Cosby watched Constand's testimony with his "head in his hands", shook his head, looked "glum", and "rolled his eyes". "And I felt him take my hand, place it on his penis and move it back and forth", she told court.

"I said I trust you", she recalled saying at the time.

"She continued to do her job", Constand's lawyer, Dolores Troiani, said outside court Wednesday.

The trial is expected to take about 2 weeks.

Constand said that Cosby became more flirtatious and suggestive during their friendship. At the same time, Constand said, she was taking Cosby a gift from a mutual acquaintance.

Kelly Johnson, of Atlanta, worked for one of Cosby's agents at the William Morris Agency. When she confronted Cosby, Constand claims that he said, "I thought you had an orgasm, didn't you?" Throughout all the questioning, she has consistently said there was no sexual contact on that prior occasion.

Meanwhile, actress Lili Bernard, who is known for her appearance in The Cosby Show, spoke to the reporters after the court adjourned for the day.

Comedian Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial started on Monday in Norristown, Pennsylvania. If the jury believes her, Cosby may be cooked.

Prosecutors this week plan to call a toxicologist to discuss the effects of drugs like quaaludes, a powerful sedative, and the cold and allergy medicine Benadryl, both of which Cosby has acknowledged giving women before sexual encounters. Andrea Constand walks to the courtroom during Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, Pa., Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

She returned the next evening and asked what the pills had been but did not get an answer.

Cosby's lawyer, Angela Agrusa, focused not on the details of the alleged assault but on other aspects of Constand's narrative, including discrepancies in several police interviews Constand gave in 2005 when she chose to report the crime a year later.

"I felt Mr. Cosby's hands groping my breasts under my shirt".

Johnson told a similar story about Cosby in 1996, when she gave sworn testimony as part of a workers' compensation claim, lawyer Joseph Miller testified Tuesday.
