Perez Dodges Question About Clinton's DNC Criticism

Hillary Clinton mocked Donald Trump over his'covfefe tweet

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday added the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the New York Times to the list of reasons for her loss to Donald Trump in the November 2016 presidential election.

Hillary Clinton has blamed her unexpected defeat in the U.S. presidential elections on a variety of factors including Russian meddling, her own party, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the media and "a very broad assumption that I was going to win".

She also pointed to the length of Russian involvement in the Presidential elections the intelligence assessment that said Russia helped Trump to defeat Clinton.

In her comments Wednesday, Clinton described the travails she endured as a candidate.

Speaking in front of an audience of about 1,000, Clinton did not hold back on her thoughts about her former rival's administration. "It is pretty hard not to".

Mr Trump was not buying it.

Hannity noted that Clinton, Democrats and the mainstream media keep trying to push the Trump-Russia story, despite no evidence of collusion between Moscow and the Trump campaign. "Hits Facebook & even Dems & DNC".

Andrew Therriault, who served as the DNC's director of data science and now works for the City of Boston, took exception to Clinton's criticisms in tweets that have since been deleted. Repeatedly over the course of a 41-year career as a political wife, candidate and appointee, she's said and done things that alienated voters.

The tweet remained online for some 5½ hours, drawing worldwide ridicule.

The panel asked Clinton about several judgments she made before and during the election, which could have caused her to lose.

The flashback to the vitriolic 2016 campaign began earlier in the day when Clinton blamed numerous factors for her stunning election loss at Recode's Code Conference.

Clinton talked at length about Russian involvement in the 2016 contest, referring to US intelligence assessments that Russia not only meddled in the election, but did so to help Trump defeat Clinton.

"She was intent on leaving the party in the black", a Clinton associate said Thursday.

She added: "I also think I was the victim of the very broad assumption that I was going to win".

Hillary Clinton warned Thursday that President Donald Trump has unleashed a level of hate and vitriol that is "incredibly risky". Here are a few responses to Clinton's allegations.
