What to Know About Jedediah Bila's New Replacement on The View

'The View' reportedly replacing Jedidiah Bila with Meghan McCain

So in other words, McCain and The View are a match made in heaven! McCain, the daughter of Senator John McCain, describes herself as Republican who's liberal on social issues, an increasingly retro political position (and, I might add, a contradictory one). The 32-year-old announced her exit from Fox News' "Outnumbered", which she had co-hosted since November, on September 15, stating that she was "leaving to focus on other things".

Variety is reporting that The View has found its conservative co-host replacement for Jedidiah Bila, and it's Meghan McCain.

After the abrupt departure of co-host Jedediah Bila for allegedly being a little bit too hard on Hillary Clinton during an interview earlier this month, The View is looking for yet another token conservative.

ABC declined to comment on McCain. Meghan's new gig comes just days after she left her position at Fox News.

McCain is expected to join Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Paula Faris, and Sunny Hostin at the table in October, according to Variety.

"The View" has had its fair share of lineup changes over the years. Prior to this, Nicolle Wallace, Rosie Perez, Raven-Symone, Michelle Collins, Candace Cameron and most recently Bila departed from the show after brief stints.

"The View" has seen improved ratings this month with big-name guests joining the panelists.

She was a co-host on Outnumbered as well - a show on the same network.
